Good evening everybody!
My fabulous sponsor Pretty Dress Clothing will be giving yours truly one of their beautiful dresses every few weeks to blog an honest review about as well as how I style up the dress! I actually posted a sneak peep from a shoot I did with this week’s dress earlier last night, where I received lots of positive feedback on the dress, I’d also love to hear what you think! I also have a ton of post that are being put up on the Pretty Dress Facebook page with styling tips, fashion trends, pinup styling, hair and makeup tutorials (coming very soon) and so much more, so be to keep your eyes peeled!
This week’s dress is the Casual Bow Shirt Dress from the Annie Greenabelle, a clothing company who design and create in house beautiful ethically made clothing. Not only is it amazing that they’re a fair-trade certified brand, but they’re fabric choices are hand picked for a unique look.
The Casual Bow Shirt Dress is a simplistic number with a cute business shirt look to it (as you see in the style, as well as the hem line) it has a button up front, turned up medium length sleeves, with collar and cute neck tie. Being a natural fabric this dress is very comfortable, and easy for your skin to breathe in. The only negative comments I can say about this stunner is it has a slight transparency to the fabric, so you may wish to wear a petticoat or underskirt with this.
With my styling of the dress I chose to go simple, a simple style can make you as a person stand out more. With styling yourself its best to pick clothing and accessories that accentuate what you think your best features are. I chose to wear a tight black waist belt, to accentuate my waist, and to tie in the black, a black rose in my hair, finishing the look with a cute pair of heels. As an advocate to vintage glamour I chose to style my hair and makeup with this theme, putting a little extra effort into your presentation goes a long way, and really effects how your clothing choices are viewed.”
How else you can wear this fabulous dress:
– Tucked into high waist pencil skirt or jeans.
– A dress to wear to the beach to cover up from sun damage.
– A ribbon tied round the waist.
– A cute under-bust corset.
– Stocking or fashion tights.
– Bright high heels matching a belt, or headpiece
Don’t forget to accessories up, you can use broaches, belts, long necklaces, and anything else you’d like!
Stay tuned for my next Pretty Dress post. In meantime be sure to check out there blog!
