Miss Lady Lace; Perth Pinup Queen, Burlesque Artist, Producer, & Blogger.
Today I’m starting a new regular addition to my blog which will be exploring vintage/pinup fashion through the outfits I wear on a daily basis, and how I accessorise with these. I’ve started this because more and more I’ve began to upload photos to Instagram of the garments I wear, and I’ve contemplated joining fashion blog websites, but thought it would be a little easier to have all my blogs in one place.
For today’s look I chose a casual business meets pinup look with a leopard print pencil skirt, and a black shirt which features a cute collar, and pressed necktie. I adorned this with a black belt from Wheels and Dollbaby, a set of vintage pearl earrings once owned by my Grandmother, a vintage hat I bought from a vintage market a few years ago, a set of black gloves with leopard print trim, to match the skirt and a pair of red velvet shoes, which I bought from an op-shop in Mt Lawley only a couple days ago.
With having a few meetings and errands to run I went for a more professional look with my hair in a French Twist variation, with two side victory rolls and a front barrel curl.
Be sure to stay tuned as I’ll soon have a few new blogs up about questions that have been emailed in to yours truly. Remember if you have any questions regarding burlesque, pinup or vintage lifestyle feel free to comment below of email me at firstname.lastname@example.org!
