Sunday Pinup Tip: Blush

Good evening lovelies,

After a tip I posted last Sunday had such a great response with photos being sent through, and lots of friends and followers letting me know the success they had with my lipstick tip, I decided to make this a weekly edition to my blog. This week I thought I’d tackle something many people look over when applying their makeup, but it is key for an authentic vintage look.

Many people struggle with the application of blush, putting it either too high, or too low in the area where darker contouring would be applied, but there’s a simple rule to always achieve perfect blush. You’ll need a pink or peach shade of blush, and a blush brush. Begin by swirling the brush in your blush, and tapping the brush after, to rid of excess colour, then give a big smile, the area of your cheek that has risen is the area you apply you blush, simply apply in a circular motion. For a little extra glamour apply a little cream coloured eyeshadow powder, and use a narrow headed brush to apply lightly at the top of your cheekbone, giving your cheek a lift, especially in photos!

Much love,
