Thigh high seamed stockings are the epitome of vintage glamour from the 1940’s and 1950’s. They add the finishing touch to a decadent vintage dress, and add a little warmth to you cool winters day, but all too often the seam running up the back of the leg slowly becomes a zig-zag line throughout the day, which isn’t a good look! The reason this happens, is when you put on the stockings, you put them on with the line uneven, then pull the stockings to me them straight, throughout the day the movement of your leg pulls the stocking into the position they were in when you originally put them on!
The simple way we can fix this, is using a mirror to put your stockings on straight the first. A little bit of a strange tip, but I find the best way to ensure this, is by lying down in front of a floor length mirror, and putting them on this way, it gives me the best view point for getting them close to perfectly straight!
