Its that time of the week again where I share with you all my weekly pinup tip! This blog is now posted every Monday in the form of a video! For this week’s pinup tip I’m going to be talking about the easiest way you can make your own setting lotion which can be used to curl your hair with a wet set. Its super simple, uses only two ingredients, and will cost you less than a dollar!
What you need:
1 TBS of linseeds/flax seeds
1 cup of water
1. Pour water and linseeds into saucepan and bring to boil.
2. Simmer for 10 minutes, or until liquid thickens.
3. Strain seeds from liquid gel into a container (seeds can be disposed of)
4. Once cooled lotion is ready to use, store in fridge for your setting lotion to last 2 weeks.
I bought my linseeds in my local Coles in Deli & Vegetable section, where they have nuts that you can weigh out yourself, linseeds are $10.00 a kilo, I bought 80g which cost 80 cents, and this will make me several more batches of this setting lotion.
I hope enjoyed today’s weekly pinup tip, please let me know if you have any feedback or requests, and as always if you’d like to keep up to date with all my vintage videos please subscribe to me on YouTube!
