Today I’m sharing with you photos from a very special photo shoot I had my sweetheart, taken by the very talented Jennifer Villalobos Photography a few weeks ago. I’ve shared a couple peeps from this set on my page but I’m finally sharing all my favourites!
Matthew is the beautiful man pictured in this photo, and this wonderful photo shoot was for our “Save The Date” cards for our Wedding in late 2016! We had a very fabulous time with Jennifer Villalobos Photography at Fast Eddy’s Cafe Morley. For our wedding we’re going to be having a “vintage fairytale” theme, and over the next year I’ll be blogging about putting together a vintage wedding, which is going to be so much fun!
Matthew and I have been together for five years, two of which we’ve been engaged for, and just last year in September we bought our first home together. At most events he’s there helping out, and he’s always there for me when I need him.
In August 2013 Matthew told me he had an early birthday surprise for me. I walked outside to find a red carpet leading to a limo, we drove for a while until we reached Kings Park where we had photos taken, we took to the road again arriving at our next location, The C Restaurant that revolves in the city, where we indulged in delicious food. A string trio played a whole bunch of songs I knew, but I thought it just coincidence, little did I know he had booked them. After our main course he went to the bathroom, and came back, got down on one knee and told me we weren’t there for my birthday, and then asked me to be his wife, and I course said yet. I was completely blind sighted and this day was one of the greatest in my life.
We’ve been so very busy in the early stages of our wedding planning, so far we’ve booking our venue, reception, and we have the dress! For my gown I have a beautiful true vintage 1950’s wedding gown which I bought from Oh Henry Vintage in Northbridge!
For this photo shoot I’m wearing another beautiful dress from Oh Henry Vintage, this piece is from the 1960’s, true vintage accessories that once belonged to my great grandmother, and a beautiful sunflower head piece from Daisy Jean Floral! Thank you again to Fast Eddy’s Morley for allowing us to shoot in your beautiful restaurant, and to Jennifer for taking these truly amazing photos!
