Hello lovelies!
The weekend is here, and I’m so very excited to be sharing with all of you my Friday’s Vintage Cocktail blog post! On Friday’s I share a fabulous true vintage or true vintage inspired cocktail with you all to celebrate the weekend being here! As always please be sure to drink responsibly and if any younger readers come across this, be sure to abide by your states drinking laws.
I’m very excited this week be featuring the Ward Eight cocktail, which has quite a fascinating back story! The Ward Eight cocktail originates in 1889 when Martin M. Lomasney hoped to have a seat in the General Court of Massachusetts, the drink was created to honour his election. The drink also made a fabulous comeback in the 1920’s during the prohibitions! Like many other drinks this story is among one of that claim origin to the drink!
Now it’s time to put on some vintage tunes, slip into something into something glamorous!

I adore this cocktail! I know I say they with every cocktail I share, but I spend a lot of time researching and finding something special that I know I’ll like. This has a beautiful sweet and sour flavour, it’s easy to make, and just too good to pass up. I like that the ingredients are simple, and hopefully you have them in your house to create this tasty treat.
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
Much love,
