Hello lovelies,
I’m very excited to be sharing my Weekly Vintage Pinup Attire blog where I share all the fabulous outfits I wore last week, where I’ve sourced them, and a little about what I’ve been up to. Today is when I usually post up my YouTube video but I’ve ran out of time with filming with a few fabulous events on this weekend, but I do have some filming scheduled over the next couple days and next week as I’ve been very inspired with writing some fabulous content for you all.
In past week I’ve been getting into the swing of things post-honeymoon, I’ve been busy catching up on my admin working and getting my blog back to running at full capacity as well as getting ready for Christmas which is a really exciting time of year. Amongst my work work I was lucky to have some time to visit a new fabulous op shop which has opened where Memory Lane used to be located in Mount Lawley, its quite a large op shop and definitely has some treasured in here!
Dress: from my favourite op shop in Anglicare Morley.
Earrings: a 1940’s set of floral earrings that my husband gave to me.
Brooch & necklace: true vintage pieces handed down to me from my beautiful family.
Basket: true vintage piece from a closed down antique store, I believe this would have organically been used for a wedding.
Shoes: Target.
Colour, lashes, brows and nails: Cherrybomb Beauty
I truly adore this vintage outfit combination as brooch, earrings, and dress all have a very similar print. I’m very much looking forward to wearing this outfit to a more formal occasion where I dress it up even further!
Playsuit: Ava & Rose
Belt: Cherri Lane
Earrings: from The Polka Dot Market.
Shoes: Target
Summer is the perfect season for playsuits, they’re fun, playful, and keep you cool while looking oh so cute! One of my favourite feature of the Ava & Rose playsuit is that the crotch seam has press studs for easy bathroom use! Not to mention how adorable the print in combination with the cherry appliqué is!
Cherrybomb days are my favourite days. Last week for the first time I had the beautiful Linda style my hair for the first time, she’s a newer member to their family and has a natural flair for vintage styling, I was over the moon with the style she gave me!
After all, what vintage lady doesn’t love a good wave!
Blouse: from my favourite op shop, Anglicare Morley!
Jeans: Cherri Lane
Hair Flower: Daisy Jean Floral
Colour, lashes, brows and nails: Cherrybomb Beauty, including day two of the styling they gave me!
Blouse: from my favourite op shop, Anglicare Morley.
Skirt: from Memory Lane’s closing down sale.
Heels: Burlesque Baby.
Colour, lashes, brows and nails: Cherrybomb Beauty, including day three of the styling they gave me!
I recently began watching Land Girls for the second time when I remember I had a fabulous green romper which would be perfect to replicate the look of this show, so Saturday I had a little fun dressing up in a style paying homage to this fabulous show! It follows the story of female land workers during WWII, for those in Australia we definitely have this on Netflix!
Romper: from my favourite op shop, Anglicare Morley.
Blouse: Wheels & Dollbaby.
Belt: Cherri Lane.
I hope you all had a fabulous week last week, and have started fresh with a new wonderful week. As always be sure to dream big, and make it happen! The first step is the hardest, so why not take it today!
More vintage fun coming real soon, including my Friday’s Vintage Cocktail blog tomorrow afternoon!
Much love,
