Today in my fabulous weekly YouTube video I’m showing you how to style a vintage barrel curl/victory roll. This particular style is one of my favourites I’d call this my signature look. This is also one of the first retro styles I taught myself how to create when I was about 14-years-old, though it did not look nearly as good as I can do now. It’s important to remember like anything it takes practise, don’t give up just keep trying and playing around until you’re happy with the styling you create!
Many people have their own way of defining a victory roll, but I do include the barrel curl in this family as we’re using the same method. The barrel describes the specific look more precisely though, this is a section of hair that rolls forwards.
In this tutorial you’ll need:
– Hair spray.
– Bobby pins.
– Teasing/divide comb.
– Bristle brush.
– Clips, aligator clips or another such clip to section your hair.
I’ve try to put as much detail into this video to help you with you own vintage styling. If you have any comments, questions, suggestions or feedback I would love to hear from you!
As always I can’t thank you all enough for supporting my little channel. To stay up to date be sure to subscribe to my channel.
