Today I’m sharing a pinup fashion tip for creating a vintage silhouette without using any intense shape wear. For our pinup fashion quite often we draw inspiration the 1940s and 1950s where we can see a distinct trend with an emphasis on the waist being cinched at the the natural waistline. For today’s tip/tutorial this is an affordable, effective and super comfortable way of adding a light silhouette to your look!
The ribbon I’m using today is 58 inches, and my natural waist 25 inches. This wraps around my waist twice and gives me enough room to tie a bow, I’d recommend double your natural waist and adding 8-10 inches for the bow to create a similar ribbon.
