Friday’s Vintage Cocktail!

Hello lovelies!

The weekend is here, and I’m so very excited to be sharing with all of you my Friday’s Vintage Cocktail blog post! On Friday’s I share a fabulous true vintage or true vintage inspired cocktail with you all to celebrate the weekend being here! As always please be sure to drink responsibly and if any younger readers come across this, be sure to abide by your states drinking laws.

For this week I selected something simple and elegant, this week I have for you the Orange Blossom cocktail which only needs a few ingredients! I encourage you to be creative, add in extras to your recipe and have fun playing around! The Orange Blossom Cocktail is one that originates from the Prohibition-era, so get ready to Charleston!

Ingredients: 

•  2 jiggers of gin.
• 1/2 a cup to a full cup of orange juice depending how strong you’d like your drink!
• An orange segment to garnish.
• Ice.

Method: 

1.  In a shaker place your ice, gin and orange juice and shake well.
2. Strain into a glamorous cocktail glass.
3. Garnish with an orange segment and relax with your delicious drink!

This drink is perfect for adding a little glamour to a lazy afternoon, it’s so simple to concoct! There’s something magical about orange juice, it completely coats the taste of any liquor! This drink is best served in a glamorous glass, while wearing lovely loungewear, and listening to a little swing jazz music!
