The Vintage Pinup Workshop & Shoot!

The Vintage Pinup Workshop is a decadent three hour event with Perth’s very own Pinup Queen, Miss Lady Lace, including a luxurious photoshoot with professional pinup photographer Jennifer Villalobos Photography. This fabulous workshop will be featuring the giant martini glass prop as well as a collection of burlesque props including boas, feather fans and other such opulent items.

✦  This workshop is taught by Miss Lady Lace, a pinup model with close to 15 years of professional experience, she’s a successful and passionate pinup who loves to share her knowledge with others.
✦  The shoot will be with one of Perth’s top pinup photographers who truly understands the art of pinup. Jennifer Villalobos Photography is internationally published and has been featured on the cover of multiple magazines. Jennifer will help you feel at ease with the camera whilst utilising her skills to create beautiful photographs.
✦  You’ll receive pinup posing guidance from both Miss Lady Lace and Jennifer during your photoshoot to ensure you look your very best.
✦  You’ll take part a unique pinup photoshoot with professional lighting, with fabulous fun themes.

The Vintage Pinup Workshop is the ultimate glamorous experience and is suited to everyone whether you’ve never stepped in front of the camera or if you’re a pinup girl who loves to shoot! There is no experienced required to take part.  Jennifer and Miss Lady Lace aim to provide a safe space for you to explore a bit of vintage fun in front of a camera and unlock your inner pinup.

What happens at the workshop:
In the first half of this workshop you’ll learn the fundamentals to being a pinup girl, hair tips, makeup tips, and posing tips which will then be followed by the pinup photoshoot with the giant martini glass!

Important details:
✦ Price: $80.00 per person, including the workshop and your pinup photoshoot and three edited photos (additional photos available for purchase).
✦  Theme: Our March event has the giant martini glass theme. You can wear daywear, evening wear, a burlesque costumes, pinup outfit, cosplay or anything else your heart desires that suits the theme. You will need to provide your own outfit or costume. There’s no pressure to wear lingerie, you can pose in a glamorous dress or any other style you like. Please note this photoshoot won’t be nude.
✦ Restrictions: This workshop is 18+. Anyone above 18 is welcome to participate in the workshop and photoshoot, for getting into the martini glass the maker of the glass has capped the weight limit to 80kg for safety, anyone not comfortable with getting into the glass or outside its safety limit can still pose around the glass, in past workshops we’ve created some amazing images in this way.
✦ Location: The Dôme Maylands Ballroom (private space with seperate entry to the main cafe).
✦ Parking: Street parking is available.  
✦ Date: Sunday March 30th, 1:30pm – 4:30pm. Be sure to arrive on time to not miss any of the content and allow 30 minutes after the workshop in case we run overtime.
✦ What you need: For this workshop you’ll arrive with you costume, hair and makeup completed. Bringing makeup and hair equipment for touch ups is recommended.
